COVID-19 monograph
In March 2021, a scientific monograph was published by Difin Publishing House

Scientific editing by Prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Zaleska
The impact of COVID-19 on finances. Polish perspective

The book explores the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with an emphasis on the banking sector, including changes to the bank-customer relationship, as well as loan availability and pricing. In addition, the book presents the unprecedented actions of the Polish central bank, including the launch of the quantitative easing program for the first time. The COVID-19 pandemic took the world by surprise in terms of scale, timing, course and consequences. The modern world does not have enough knowledge and experience in dealing with this type of crisis. The book fills the knowledge gap and the gap in the publishing market to a certain extent (finances). So far, no compact work has been prepared showing the consequences of the current crisis in the financial markets. Each participant of these markets should deepen their knowledge about the mechanisms of the spread of such crises and their consequences for public finances, financial safety net, banks and their clients. Moreover, a timeless lesson should be drawn from the experience of the recent crisis and remembered for a long time. The world of banking and finance will no longer be the same as it was before the current crisis.
